Call for Papers: Doctoral Conference - Sustainable Use of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Work

Sustainable Use of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Work

Modern technology, and specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI), is transforming the work of legal professionals at an accelerating pace. Addressing the dilemmas arising from this shift requires substantive answers. These solutions can only be developed through continuous dialogue among the professionals involved—an opportunity that has been scarce until now. To provide long-term, viable answers to the challenges of legal practice, we must look beyond ad hoc fixes and symptomatic treatments, aiming instead to understand the core essence and deeper layers of the issue.

The aim of our event—organized by the Institute for Legal Studies (ELTE CSS) in cooperation with the MTA/ELTE Momentum Research Group on Algorithmic Constitutionalism—is to provide a platform for the youngest generation of researchers to make their voices heard in this discourse.

We invite applications from PhD students in law or other disciplines conducting research relevant to legal practice who would like to present their findings to a broader professional audience, both orally and in writing.
